    At Sour Beauty, we are committed to providing high-quality cosmetics and ensuring that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines your rights and our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

    1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

    Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if a product you purchase from us:

    • Is faulty or defective;

    • Is unsafe;

    • Is significantly different from the description or sample shown; or

    • Fails to perform as promised or as a reasonable consumer would expect.

    These rights cannot be excluded.
    You are not entitled to a refund or exchange simply because you changed your mind, made an incorrect choice, or no longer want the product.

    2. Makeup and Hygiene Policy

    Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on makeup or skincare products if they have been opened, used, or tested, unless the product is faulty or otherwise falls under the consumer guarantees set out in the ACL.

    To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

    • Unused, unopened, and in its original packaging; and

    • Returned within 14 days of delivery (for change-of-mind requests, if accepted).

    3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

    If you receive an item that is:

    • Faulty or defective;

    • Damaged during shipping; or

    • Not what you ordered;

    • Products must be unopened, unused, and in resalable condition;

    • You must return the product within 14 days of purchase;

    • Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility; and

    • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method, excluding shipping costs.

  • Sour Beauty Postage & Shipping Policy

    At Sour Beauty, we ship all orders via Australia Post to ensure fast and reliable delivery.

    1. Processing & Delivery

    Orders are packed and sent within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
    Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking email from Australia Post.

    Estimated delivery:

    • Standard: 3–8 business days*

    • Express: 1–4 business days*
      *Delivery times are estimates and may vary by location or postal delays.

    2. Shipping Costs

    • Standard Shipping: $9.95 AUD

    • Express Shipping: $14.95AUD

    • Free Standard Shipping for orders over $100AUD

    3. Delivery Issues

    Sour Beauty is not responsible for delays or lost parcels once handed to Australia Post.
    Please ensure your delivery address is correct.

    4. Returns Due to Non-Delivery
